A couple of weeks ago I purchased 3 new Carbonlite rods from Bass Pro Shops. I wanted to wait until I had used them a little before I gave them a review. I got 2 trigger rods, 1- 6'9" MH fast, 1-7'0" M Mod. 1 spinning rod, 6'8" M xfast. Pros: These rods are really a good bang for your buck. They are very sensitive. The hook hanger design works really well. BPS has a great return policy. Cons: The hook hanger design has caught my line on one location, so it needs to be watched. For some reason BPS didn't use the screw out buttcap that would allow you to balance the rod perfectly. Overall, I am pleased with these rods performance. Time will tell if they hold up to heavy fishing. As of now, I would recommend them to someone wanting a good rod for a lower price range. Good luck.

I've tapped the tips in the store, felt good there. I might try one out. I haven't known anybody with one.
