Whats the most expensive lure in your fishing arsenal? Mine would be a Lucky Craft Slender Pointer which cost me about $20.

I've got 5 or 6 Lucky Crafts, which would have to be my most expensive. I also bought a Yellow Magic topwater popper for a trip to Lake Fork a couple of years ago. It was around $15, but, of course, the LC's were more expensive.
Don't ask how many fish I've caught on these expensive damn baits. (probably 'cause I'm scared to throw them!!).

a rapala shad rap for 8 dollars. and I am afraid to throw it let alone a 20 dollar lucky craft. There is just too much at stake to buy an expensive lure. One cast and it can be hung up and gone. I saw in bassmaster magazine one of those guys gets a custom crankbait made that he uses every tournament. It said they cost him $50 bucks a peice and that he has at least three in his boat all the time. They thing looks amazing but $50 is too much for a fishing lure.

I usually dont worry too much about loosing it. I have this big extendable lure retriever that extends to like 15-20 ft or something like that. If the waters warm, you can bet Ill go in after it!

oh yeah I'll go in after an expensive one if it's hung up. I have an old cedar stump out next to my boat dock that is underwater and every year I swim out to it and take all of the hung lures out and use them. One of my favorite things to do is watch these guys fishing get hung on it and they just cut the line. I've lost so many lures in that one stump. But I get them back about 6 months later.
