That does it. I'm goin friday. Any advice on where to launch? I'll be coming on I-40. Is there any place near the steam plant, or should I go to Spring City?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I have been fishing the Bar for about 20 years...and it still stumps me at times
Possum, there is a couple of boat ramps right off of I-40. If you get off at the Kingston exit and go left, Ladds Landing is just a couple miles down. This ramp is on the Clinch river across from the confluence of the Emory river. Lots of good fishing around there. If you go right off the interstate, about 2 miles down is highway 70, take a right and there are two boat ramps up on the left. These are both on the Clinch, but below the steam plant. These ramps are about a mile upstream from the confluence of the Tennessee river. Seems like here lately, the bite has been better around the Emory. I had a day up there last week where I caught about 50 on topwater(spook), they were not real big, but just tons of them in the breaks. Just stay in the channel when running the big motor, and look on the shallow flats for the bass and stripe in the jumps.

Thanks Jon, I'm really excited now. Hope the cold front doesn't mess it up for me.
