guys much of the year I am a deep water fisherman. because of this I have 5 graphs on my boat. The first is a Lowrance 9 and right beside it is a Garmon echo 9. On the deck I have a Garmon echo 7 an two Humming birds, . This way I can display several type screens at the same time. I will have to say that over all the Hummingbird is best however the Garman has the clearest picture, I am getting a live Scope 1132 installed this week and will give you a report on this, After watching about 20 clips on net flicks I thing these devices are much better for locating crappie or walleye in schools. I this he live scope may be good for locating cover such as rush or rock pile that are out of site,i will have to say that I like the Garmon for its screen clarity best,F2W

I agree with you about the Garmin, I have a 93SV on my console, and a Lowrance 9 upfront. The Garmin has a much better picture quality. Ive thought about trying Humminbird up front. I think i would keep the Lowrance for the mapping. I think my Lowrance mapping is top notch.

Smoke I have an elite 9 and a 93 on my console. I only use the Lowrance elite 9 for navagation. I have a 73 on my deck along with a hummingbird 545 and a Hummingbird Helix 7.The Hummingbirds are quality built but the Garmin are much easier to read. F2w

Thanks for the info about the Humminnird, I do like my 93SV very much. Ive got the giftcards, just waiting on a good sale. I wished I had waited for a second Garmin when I bought the Lowrance for the front.
