as some of you know I have 4 graphs on my boat 2 on the deck and 2 on the console. 1 Is a Lowrance 9TI, This is the biggest piece of crap I have ever had. There is always something wrong or not functioning correctly. I have the chip inserted and have up dated it, The deck has 2 hummingbirds. A Humming Bird 525 that is a great little screen graph, Shows amazing detail in a 5 inch screen and has great down scan. The other is a Helix 7 on a gimbal, It shoots from the transom while the 5 series shoots from the trolling motor both good back up navigation both are chipped,Then there is a Garman 9 unit that had superb detail is incredibly accurate and has a great color screen, I have ended up using the Lowrance as a GPS and the Garman to zero in on fish, For my money If and go down it will; be replaced with a Garman. When Lowrance first came out with the colored screens I thought they were a decent, then I needed some customer service and they fell flat on their face. Been a Humminbird guy ever since. Heard good thing about Garmin so they'll get a look if I ever decide to make a switch... Dan

i have a Garmin 93sv on my console and I love it...have a Lowrance Elite 9 TI up front and have never had any problems with it. Dan I agree that Lowrance has crap for customer service. Also when I got my Lowrance the owner manual was terrible. I like the mapping on both of my units, but I've heard Humminbird mapping is as good too.

You will love the 93. I do I may replace one of my birds with another Garman,. For 100 the Lowrance rep will come to your house make sure you have it dialed in and teach you all about its operation. You can meet him at dandgride if you want on the lake training. he lives at Dandridge. F2W
