What type of rods/reels does everyone own? Do you have low-end, middle, or high-end equipment? Myself I own mostly middle class equipment. I have 3 Shimano Crucial rods, 1 BPS Extreme, 2 BPS Bionic Blades. As for reels, I own 3 Daiwa Advantages Super Tuned, 1 Okuma Inspira (spinning), and 1 Browning Midas (spinning). Will be getting a g-loomis crankbait rod here soon. What about everyone else?

I have low end spinning reels because I don't use as much as I probably should. I also use middle of the road Quantum rod and reels, along with BPS Pro Qualifier rods and reels.

I have low - middle grade tackle. I'm slowly upgrading to better equipment. As of now, here's what I've got:
BPS Extreme Combo (rod & reel)-4 of these BPS Extreme Lite Combo - 1 Shimano Curado (high speed retrieve) w/BPS Rick Clunn crankbait rod Shimano Curado (3.8 to 1) with an inexpensive Garcia rod- used only for deep cranks (DD-22's) and slow rolling spinnerbaits Garcia Eon & Cherrywood rod - spinnerbait combo Shimano Sahara spinning reel w/BPS Bionic Blade rod - finesse combo
and my most recent upgrade-a BPS Extreme reel w/a Falcon Cara rod. The rod is normally $129 - 139 and I bought it at Elliot Outdoors in Jackson for $89.99.
I hope to buy more Falcons and maybe some better reels, but the Extremes are hard to beat for the price or the exchange policy at BPS.

I just recently purchased a new rod and reel combo from the new Bass Pro Shops in seveirvile. I love that place, will probably spend too much time and money there now that it is so close to home.
I bought a BPS Extreme 6' med. action rod.....and a Shimano Sahara 750 reel to go on it. The rod is a little more stout than my other lightweight combo....but I got this one mainly for walleye fishing, i figured the extra backbone would be good.
My medium heavy setup is a BPS Bionic Blade 6'6" med heavey action rod with a Quantum Kinetic reel. I have been very pleased with the quantum even though I prefer Shimano...
I also have another ultra light set up that is great for trout fishing on the clinch and in small mountain streams. It is a cheap setup, but I have had it forever and probably caught more fish on it than i have with my other rods. It is a quantum snapshot I bought about ten years ago, the rod is 5'6" light spinning. Very flimsy rod, great for detecting trout hits
I will probably buy a baitcaster soon. I have been hesitant because I am very impatient and a birds nest is the last thing i want to worry about while fishing.

I have just enough to make me happy...I guess, LOL!
1. Kistler Helium LTA 7'6"H with a BPS Extreme 7:1 reel. 2. Team Daiwa-S 7'M Crankin With a TD-Viento. 3. Team Daiwa-S 7'MH Worm with a TD-X.
Them are the best ones, The last two are lower end. But There is something about the rods, I really like.
4. Berkley Cherrywood 7'M With a Rhino rbc reel. 5. Berkley Cherrywood 7'M With a Pennicle Tetra reel.
There is something about the cherrywood rods that work for me, Not just the price. -Chris
