Are you guys loyal to a specific brand when it comes to equipment? I know alot of guys are daiwa guys and some shimano guys, as well as Quantum and so on. What about you?

Yes I am but for some obvious reasons. I am sponsored by Daiwa and Kistler so if I was to use some other brands I would get into some trouble.

I have decided to use "mainly" Kistler rods. I got an LTA Flippin' Stick. So that means I have to start saving to buy the rest that I need. And I love my Daiwa Reels, they have done nothing but good for me, So I will stay with their reels. Plus I got a good tip that some of those awesome reels made in Japan will start being produced right here in the U.S., Now I am not sure which models, But I cannot wait to see what they offer us. Hopefully some of them Type-R's. -Chris

well right now i am just tryin some of everything. Like today my new Okuma vs-200 reel came ups. For me i guess its an experience thing. I havent fished that long so i want to check some brands first to see whats out there then maybe if a certain one outperforms then i will stick with it. But also you have to keep up with everything else, if not then you may miss out on something really good.

I bought 2 new Curado 100D's yesterday, should be getting them in sometime this week. I use quite a few different brands also. I've got both Shimano and Daiwa as for baitcasters. As for Spinning, I have Okuma, Browning and Shimano.

I will fish any reel, as long as it's Shimano.
I am currently fishing (2) G.Loomis, (3)St.Croix, a Fenwick and a Lamiglas. My rods are technique specific so I fish them all occasionally. Going forward, I doubt I will buy anything but G.Loomis.
Soft plastics? I should have a Yamamoto tatto on my forehead.
I have been fishing Yo-Zuri Hybrid for the past two years and am in the process of switching to the Hybrid Ultra Soft exclusively.
Gamakatsu hooks, is there another brand? (Actually I also like Diiachi X-Points, too.)
Micro Munch Tackle jigs.
Ranger boat, Yamaha Four Stroke motor.
Cabela's Guidewear rain gear.
Timberland boots.
Toyoto cars and trucks.
Budweiser beer and Marlboro cigaretts.
Dewar's scotch.

I have a total of 6 Falcon rods, 1 Gloomis, and a St. Croix, and I like them all. I have mainly Shimano reels, 1 Daiwa, 2 Quantums, and 1 Finn-Nor. The Finn-Nor is actually one of my favorites, it has the best drag system of any of my others.

I like Pflueger reels and falcon and Crazy fish rods.I am going to all crazy fish.
As far as tackle, yes, but as above, I am loyale because I like it, and because of sponsorships with Retriever lures, PowerPro,The Original Fish Formula, Daiichi Hooks and Carolina Chips. But I used all of them long before i got my sponsorships with them.
